Sponsorship Opportunities for 2010

2010 sees the eagerly anticipated return of Kinofilm, Manchester’s only short film festival to embrace all genres. But, we need your help!

After three years away from your screens, Kinofilm is back with the 11th edition of the festival - Kinofilm Manchester European Short Film Festival, taking place in various venues across Manchester 28 April – 2 May 2010.

There are sponsorship opportunities for all strands and major needs of the festival, including festival awards and a varied education and professional development programme of seminars, forums, master classes, workshops and networking events.

The screening programme includes films from a wide-range of genres, including drama, animation, experimental, romance, comedy, horror, fantasy, sci-fi and music videos from across the UK and Europe.

Whether you can invest £100 or £10,000, we have something to suit all budgets. In return for your cash or in-kind support, Kinofilm will provide you with one or more of the following benefits:

  • A chance to be part of an exciting new cultural event
  • An opportunity to promote your product or service to a new audience
  • On-screen and web advertising
  • Festival programme advertising
  • Complimentary tickets to screenings
  • Access to VIP events

Those on a low budget can still show their support for Kinofilm by joining the Kinofilm Friends Scheme. Name your donation! You can donate in-cash (min. £50) or in-kind and help put Manchester back on the map as an International Short Film Festival destination.

"The Kinofilm Festival has become a real landmark festival.  I loved having my film shown and any financial assistance that can help a festival like this continue...has to be a good thing," Says Kolton Lee, Director of Freestyle (2009).

Kinofilm has a long line of previous sponsors including Baby Cow, BBC Film Network, The University of Salford, Parcel Force, Propeller, Cobra Beer & Talent Circle. Join them, support the short film industry, nurture creative talent, be part of Kinofilm 2010.
