Kino Shorts at the Circle Club Kino used to hold a bi-monthly regional showcase and networking event at the Circle Club, Deansgate, Manchester. The Circle is Manchester’s media members club and is frequented by the creative industries in Manchester; from the music, fashion, design, photography, film and broadcast media sectors. The event took place on the last Tuesday of every other month.
It gave filmmakers a chance to show their films in an informal environment over a few beers, chat about your films and meet other filmmakers. Local film maker Erinma Ochu said, "I've been a couple of times and had a fun night, seen some great films, met loads of people working on shorts and features in the North West and beyond that I had no idea were out there".
